Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shift Lead to join our Retail team at one of our Lansing stores. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while fostering a positive and professional environment for both staff and customers. The ideal candidate should be dependable, organized, motivated, and passionate about their work and the Pure Options Brand. This role requires a team-oriented individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is patient, works well with others, maintain a professional working relationship, train, coach and develop others. An individual who follows detailed directions while demonstrating forethought and initiative to maintain a positive work environment while willing to assist other team members as needed. This position requires a blend of skills and experience that is specifically focused on the roles of inventory management. The effective candidate will have previous experience working with ERP and/or POS systems, specifically Leaf Logix. Applicants must be flexible to work varying schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Duties/Responsibilities:
● Help company achieve goals and objectives: general business, marketing, sales, customer service, financial, human resource, and compliance.
● Supervise all facility operations and procedures per hours of operation.
● Train employees on policies, process, procedures, and roles.
● Serve as a point of contact for staff-related Human Resource issues. Report staff-related HR issues to company administrators when unresolved.
● Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
● Complete Daily Reports, including but not limited to sales, inventory, retention, ticket, online sales, customer metrics, data analysis, etc.
● Comply with company cash handling policies and perform daily cash management responsibilities per company policy; ensure cash is accurate.
● Help team educate patients on medical marihuana medicinal properties, selection of proper genetics or products per the patient’s desired effect or per specific medical ailment, and general understanding.
● Maintain a culture of high-quality customer service and patient communication.
● Assist accountants with periodic sales and inventory audits.
●Assure daily compliance with LARA/BMMR policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
● Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality, non-disclosure, non-discrimination, harassment free work environment, etc.
● Assist team members with sales encounters.
● Participate in ongoing education and professional development.
● Oversee facility maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary including phone, utilities, technology, maintenance/repairs, stock, and supplies.
● Contribute to team environment and company advancement per strategic direction set by company administrators.
● Make sure team members are on track and doing their job.
● Make sure that all operations of the store run smoothly.
● Handle patient, caregiver, or customer complaints regarding retail experience or products purchased. Resolve when possible and elevate concerns/problems to Company administrators.
● Manager product recalls as they occur in coordination with Company administrators.
● Work with General Manager to lead and reinforce continuity of procedures and best practices.
● Maintain lines of communication with Company administrators regarding performance, issues, problems, challenges, opportunities, threats, etc.

- Must be 21 years of age.
- Cannot be a current licensed caregiver.
- Must pass a background check.
Additional Requirements:
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of Company.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Working knowledge of personal computers. Software proficiencies should include word processing, spread sheet capabilities, and mainframe experience. Responsible for performing all work efficiently and in compliance with quality, quantity, and safety standards as established by PG Group.
