Position Summary
The Superintendent manages the daily execution of fieldwork on a data center construction project, directing subcontractor crews, enforcing the project schedule, and confirming that work is installed to the standard set by the contract documents. This role is the primary field authority for sequencing, safety enforcement, and quality on a shift-by-shift basis, working closely with the construction manager and quality control manager to keep the project on schedule and free
of rework.
This is a field-based position supporting construction projects in North Louisiana, Virginia, and Corpus Christi, Texas. Project assignments and reporting locations will vary based on operational needs. Travel and/or temporary relocation may be required.
Essential Responsibilities

Direct daily field activities for all trades on site, including sequencing, manpower loading, and work area coordination.
- Conduct daily huddles and weekly three-week look-ahead schedule meetings with subcontractor foremen.
- Enforce adherence to approved shop drawings, submittals, and specifications during installation.
- Identify and resolve field conflicts between trades, including MEP coordination issues in the white space and gray space.
- Maintain daily reports documenting manpower, weather, deliveries, and work performed.
- Coordinate crane picks, equipment deliveries, and material staging across a congested active site.
- Support the quality control manager in tracking punch list items and confirming corrective work is completed and closed out.
- Enforce site-specific safety requirements in coordination with the safety manager, including daily job hazard analyses.
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of superintendent experience on commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple trades on schedule-critical construction projects.
- Working knowledge of means and methods for structural, architectural, and MEP installation.
- OSHA 30-Hour certification.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience on a data center, semiconductor, or other mission-critical construction project.
- Experience with crane and rigging coordination on congested sites.
- Familiarity with commissioning support activities during the final stages of construction.
Work Environment
Full-time presence on an active construction site, including data halls, mechanical yards, and rooftops during equipment installation. Requires the ability to walk long distances across the site throughout the day, climb ladders and stairs, and work at height when required, while wearing standard personal protective equipment.
