About the Role
As a Field Diesel Mechanic, you will serve as a critical technical expert, providing on-site repair solutions to keep essential heavy-duty fleets and machinery operational. You will leverage your deep expertise in engine performance and electrical diagnostics to minimize downtime and ensure maximum equipment reliability for our diverse client base.
Responsibilities-
Execute comprehensive maintenance and complex repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, hydraulic circuits, and electrical systems.

Utilize advanced diagnostic software to pinpoint mechanical failures and implement efficient, long-term solutions.

Manage both scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency field repairs with high autonomy.

Operate specialized lifting equipment and cranes to safely facilitate heavy component replacements.

Provide detailed technical consultations to clients, offering actionable service recommendations.

Maintain meticulous digital records of all service events to ensure fleet compliance and history tracking.

Mentor junior technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaborative problem-solving.

Continuously integrate new industry advancements to optimize repair workflows and service quality.

High school diploma or equivalent.

5+ years of hands-on experience in diesel engine, hydraulic, or electrical system repair.

Advanced proficiency with modern diagnostic tools and technical service manuals.

Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively in high-pressure, field-based environments.

Possession of a comprehensive set of personal tools required for heavy-duty service.

Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a service vehicle safely.

Current ASE certifications or specific OEM training (e.g., Cummins, Detroit).
