About the Role
We are seeking a professional, welcoming, and reliable Front Office Receptionist on an as needed basis to support our client. Located in the heart of downtown Chicago inside the iconic Willis Tower, this flexible role serves as the "face of the department." You will step in on an as-needed basis to cover planned vacations, sick days, or peak busy periods for our primary receptionist.

The First Impression: Greet visitors with warmth and professionalism, directing them to the appropriate offices or resources.
Communication Hub: Answer incoming phone calls, take accurate messages, and manage the general department email inbox.
Administrative Support: Assist with light clerical duties as needed, such as sorting mail, data entry, photocopying, and maintaining a tidy reception area.
Customer Service Champions: Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role
Exceptional Communicators: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, patient demeanor.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with basic office software (Microsoft Office/Google Workspace) and the ability to quickly learn phone systems.
Reliable & Flexible: Dependable availability to step in with short notice when our primary receptionist is unavailable.
The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
