Job Overview
We are seeking a caring, compassionate and reliable Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) that is able to assist with transfers and ADLs. You will play a crucial role in assisting clients with personal care services, ensuring their overall well-being, and support their independence. Part-time.
Qualifications
- Active NJ CHHA certification required
- 1 year relevant experience preferred
- Ability to pass background check
- Valid photo ID or Driver's License
- 1-Step PPD within the last year or chest x-ray
- A commitment to providing compassionate and supportive care is essential for success in this role.
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Follow the care plan
- Provide companionship
- Assist with ADL & IADL
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Shopping/errands
- Transportation to appointments and activities (preferred)
- Laundry and linen changes
- Home safety checks (removing trip hazards)
- Report client behavioral or physical changes
- Medication reminders
- Maintain log of activities
- Communicate with supervisor
- Attend orientation, training and staff meetings (paid)
