Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Older Adult Companion to provide personalized support and companionship to seniors in various care settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults by promoting their independence, safety, and well-being. As an essential member of our team, you will foster a warm, respectful environment while assisting with daily activities and ensuring clients ' comfort and dignity are maintained at all times.
Duties
- Offer friendly companionship and engage residents in meaningful conversations, activities, and recreational pursuits to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Support residents with meal preparation
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light cleaning duties, laundry, and maintaining residents’ personal spaces
- Provide transportation assistance for appointments or outings using personal transportation methods while ensuring safety at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members
- Physical ability to perform light to heavy lifting tasks regularly and stand or walk for extended periods

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3.0 – 40.0 per week
