Job Title: Extended Day Staff

Reports to: Extended Day Program Coordinator, under the Supervision of the Elementary Principal
Overview
The Extended Day is expected to assist Hebron Christian Academy in achieving its mission. A commitment to excellence and unparalleled customer service is needed and is the expectation of all Hebron employees.
Qualifications
- High degree of proficiency in people management
- Possess excellent public relations skills including courteousness, tact and good verbal communications
- Must have proven track record of ability to multi-task and make modifications in routine and /or activities in order to meet the needs of students in the program or within the program
- Demonstrated to be highly organized and have an exceptional attention to details, accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to make decisions without close supervision and handle detailed work assignments
- Proven ability to maintain respect at all times for confidential information
- Proven ability to maintain self-control
- Proven ability to work independently and self-motivated; also work cooperatively with personnel

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supports the promotion of a positive climate for students in the program.
- Communicates with families regarding the Extended Day Program.
- Must enjoy working with school aged children up to young teens.
- Responsible for assisting with creating an enriching, fun, and safe environment for children.
- Responsible for assisting with after school snacks, interacting with children and their families, working independently as well as with a team.
- Must have a positive attitude and serve as a role model to participants in the program.
