We are looking for experienced Texas Driving Instructors
SafeWay Driving Park Cities is growing, and we're looking for a professional, experienced TDLR Driving Instructor who is also qualified to conduct DPS Authorized Road Tests.
If you are tired of putting wear and tear on your own vehicle, finding your own students, or working for a company that doesn't value professional instruction, this is an opportunity worth looking at.
We provide the vehicle and the students. You focus on teaching and testing.
What you will do
- Provide one-on-one behind-the-wheel driving instruction
- Conduct DPS Authorized Road Tests
- Teach defensive driving and safe driving habits
- Prepare students for their Texas driver's license
- Complete required documentation and follow SafeWay procedures
- Provide a professional experience for students and their families
What we require
- Active Texas TDLR Driving Instructor License
- Minimum 1 year of TDLR Driving Instructor experience
- Current TPST Examiner Certificate
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Clean, professional driving history
- Strong communication and teaching skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures
