About Well Lab
Well Lab is a results-driven medical aesthetics studio in Snellville offering advanced laser, radiofrequency, body contouring, skin rejuvenation, and wellness services. We're seeking a licensed RN who also holds an active Georgia Senior Laser Practitioner license to deliver clinical aesthetic treatments and help anchor our laser and energy-based device program.
Position Summary
As our part-time RN / Senior Laser Practitioner, you'll perform cosmetic laser, radiofrequency (RF), and ultrasound-based aesthetic treatments, maintain meticulous clinical documentation, and operate under the protocols of our consulting physician. This is a client-facing clinical role for someone who pairs strong nursing judgment with excellent device technique and a polished, professional presence.
Responsibilities
- Perform cosmetic laser and IPL treatments (e.g., skin rejuvenation, pigment/vascular, hair removal) safely and to protocol
- Perform radiofrequency (RF) skin-tightening and contouring treatments
- Perform ultrasound-based (HIFU) lifting and tightening treatments
- Conduct client consultations, screen for contraindications, and set realistic treatment expectations
- Maintain accurate, thorough clinical documentation for every visit—consult notes, consent forms, treatment parameters/settings, and post-care instructions
- Follow consulting-physician protocols and uphold compliance with the Georgia Cosmetic Laser Services Act
- Provide oversight of Assistant Laser Practitioners as needed (an SLP is authorized to supervise ALPs)
- Maintain devices, treatment rooms, and safety standards (eyewear, settings, sanitation)
- Deliver a premium client experience consistent with the Well Lab brand
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Georgia RN license
- Active Georgia Senior Laser Practitioner license issued by the Georgia Composite Medical Board (requires a current nursing license, 3+ years of clinical experience, prior medical licensure for 3+ years, and 2 board-approved laser training certificates)
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Comfortable performing laser, RF, and ultrasound treatments hands-on with minimal supervision
- Strong documentation discipline and attention to detail
Preferred
- Prior medspa or medical aesthetics experience
- Experience with RF and HIFU device platforms
- Current laser CME (Georgia requires 5 hours of CME every 2 years at renewal)
