POSITION TITLE: Residential Security Agent
JOB LOCATION: West Los Angelas, CA
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position performs residential protective services for a private client family and estate property while assigned to security posts and foot patrols. Residential Security Agents act as a deterrent to crime and detect suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts, which may be a threat to the client family or property. WORKING HOURS:
Staff will work 12-hour shifts on either the day or night shift schedule. Employees can expect to work 3 to 4 shifts per week, including weekends, depending on operational needs and scheduling requirements. Overtime will be paid in accordance with applicable state laws and based on hours worked.
COMPENSATION: $30.00-$40.00 hourly

- Compensation is based on hourly rate determined by experience and qualifications.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Perform estate security and physical protection for client family in a residential setting.
- Provide superior concierge-level, customer service-focused security.
- Provide security and logistical support for special events and activities on property.
- Provide access-control utilizing sound judgment and client provided tools such as access control systems or access control lists and logs, to include visitor processing as a fixed function or temporary responsibility when needed.
- Perform protective planning and threat vulnerability assessments.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding any sensitive information on the client, physical protection means, and methods.
- Interact professionally with team members, internal family, house staff, external individuals, and law enforcement officials.
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency situations with a prioritized sense of urgency and maintain open communication flow with management staff.
- Deescalate tense situations that arise at the client's residence.
- Detect, investigate, and deny access of unauthorized persons.
- Understand the client’s risks, including media, business and personal travel, domestic and foreign operations.
- Participate in special event planning on property to ensure access control, confidentiality, and other security matters are identified through a written plan accepted by the client.
- Follow company and client-directed Standard Operating Procedures.
- Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Must reside in or near Los Angeles County, CA

Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.

GED or High School Diploma/ College Degree preferred.
-
3-5+ years of military and/or security experience in a position related to essential functions.

Must have a valid US State-issued driver’s license at hire and throughout employment.

Must possess a valid US passport during the entire tenure of employment.

Ability to multi-task and organize workload.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite/MS-365.

Ability to work in a close team environment.

Licenses that are required to operate in the state where duties are performed.

Current California BSIS Guard Card is required.

Current California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit is required

Active California CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon) permit

Current CPR/AED Certification is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/TOOLS/EQUIPMENT:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on an LED screen, laptop and/or other general office equipment.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Ability to use cellular devices effectively.

Ability to be mobile as needed for an assignment which can include driving a vehicle, walking, and standing for prolonged periods.
