We are seeking an energetic, creative, and self-motivated Landscape Designer to join our growing team of professionals. This role is ideal for a design-minded professional who enjoys collaborating with clients, transforming outdoor spaces, and seeing projects through from concept to completion.
Position Overview
The Landscape Designer will work closely with our Landscape Design Manager and project teams to support all aspects of estimating, selling, and designing residential and commercial landscape projects. This role blends creative design with technical execution, client communication, and project coordination.
You will be responsible for site visits, concept development, construction documentation, and ongoing client support throughout the installation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits, field measurements, and site analysis
- Generate base plans and landscape designs using Dynascape and other design software
- Develop planting plans, hardscape layouts, and conceptual renderings
- Assist with project estimating and proposal development
- Order materials required for approved projects
- Communicate with clients throughout the design and installation process
- Perform regular site visits to ensure quality and client satisfaction
- Create and process change orders as needed
- Coordinate with the business office on customer deposits and final billing
- Collaborate with installation teams to ensure design intent is executed properly
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of residential landscape construction experience
- Minimum of 3 years of landscape design or estimating experience
- Strong plant knowledge and horticultural understanding
- Experience with Dynascape or similar CAD-based design software
- Proficiency in SketchUp and Photoshop
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture, or a related field
- Estimating and job costing experience
- Horticulture background
- Field installation experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
