Installation Technician - Contract to Hire
A capital equipment manufacturing company is seeking an Installation Technician in the Framingham, MA area with mechanical or electromechanical experience to outfit box trucks for commercial use.
Shift of the Installation Technician:
M-F 8am-5pm
Pay Rate of the Installation Technician:
$21-23/hr DOE
Responsibilities of the Installation Technician:
- Perform basic hand tool mechanical assembly and wire harnessing.
- Assemble and install products to outfit vehicles for commercial use.
- Install equipment in vehicles, including wiring, shelving, generators, inverters, and other accessories.
- Troubleshoot and repair any faulty units.
- Build kits for inverters, test, and package.
Qualifications of the Installation Technician:
- High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years in construction or automotive mechanics.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must possess basic tools, including a toolbox with tape measures, wrenches, pliers, socket set, screwdriver, etc.
