We are looking for a highly experienced and proactive Payroll and Benefits Manager to join our Finance/HR team. This role involves managing all aspects of payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while maintaining employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
Administer employee benefits programs such as retirement plans; medical, dental, vision plans; life insurance plans; temporary disability programs; and wellness programs.
Ensure that all payroll and benefits processes comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Resolve issues and answer payroll and benefits-related inquiries.
Collaborate with the HR team to integrate payroll with other HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee development.
Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll and benefits management.
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of payroll systems, benefits administration, and federal and state regulations.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality.
