Town Hall Estates Arlington is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and licensed Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated in-house rehabilitation department. We are currently hiring for both Full-Time and PRN (Per Diem) positions to provide exceptional therapy services in our skilled nursing and subacute rehabilitation facility.
Our in-house therapy team is committed to helping residents regain independence, improve function, and achieve their highest level of quality of life through individualized, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely.
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to maximize independence and safety.
- Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary meetings.
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, Medicare, and facility regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Texas Occupational Therapist license in good standing.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
- Experience in skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, or long-term care is preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
