Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Level PCB Designer to join our team. Our customers include industries such as: Electronics, Aerospace, Industrial, Defense, Government and Healthcare. K2 Engineering is a PCB design company in the New England Region, with a long-established history of providing quality PCB layouts and related services to our customers. The dedicated team of seasoned professionals has designed some of the most challenging and innovative products in the world. Our custom PCB design team has a longstanding reputation as a leading service provider to the electronics market.
Skills required:
- Basic computer literacy
- Extensive knowledge of Allegro tools including constraint manager
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical & problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to adapt to changing customer requirements
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
- Excels in a remote work environment
- Experience with Altium a plus but not required
Requirements include:
- A minimum of 10 years experience designing high-speed mixed signal through hole and SMT circuit boards using Cadence Allegro.
- Responsible for creating advanced PCB layouts from electrical schematics, net lists, mechanical input, and associated detail documents.
- Must be familiar with the latest fabrication and assembly standards.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
- This position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week plus overtime as needed.
- Experienced using Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel for use in documentation generation and summary presentations.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
