Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and efficiency
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions swiftly and accurately
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures
- Assist in food preparation when needed, including basic food handling and sanitation practices
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and workstations through bussing and sanitation routines
- Support food safety standards by following proper food handling protocols and health regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality service
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast food restaurants is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order totaling are essential
- Experience with culinary tasks or kitchen environments adds value to your role
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude are key to success in this role
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is important for maintaining a safe environment
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while demonstrating excellent time management skills
