Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our electrical team in Wyoming. The Journeyman Electrician will perform electrical installations, service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on oil and gas industrial projects while maintaining compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Install conduit, wire, cable, panels, disconnects, breakers, switches, outlets, lighting, and other electrical components.
- Perform electrical rough-in and finish work.
- Diagnose electrical problems and determine appropriate repairs.
- Test electrical systems and verify proper operation.
- Work with electrical tools, meters, testing equipment, lifts, and other jobsite equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable Wyoming requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Coordinate with electricians, apprentices, general contractors, and other trades on active jobsites.
- Complete required documentation, material requests, and daily job reports.
- Provide professional customer service when working at customer locations.
- Assist with training and mentoring apprentices and less-experienced electricians.
- Perform additional electrical duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current Wyoming Journeyman Electrician license
- Proven experience as a journeyman electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics.
- Working knowledge of the NEC and applicable electrical safety requirements.
- Ability to safely use electrical hand tools, power tools, meters, and testing equipment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and on ladders, lifts, elevated platforms, and construction sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oil and gas industrial electrical experience.
- Experience with service and troubleshooting.
- Experience with motor controls, generators, transformers, or other specialized electrical equipment.
- OSHA safety training.
- Experience supervising or mentoring apprentices.
- Additional electrical certifications or licenses.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry electrical materials and equipment.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when required.
- Ability to distinguish wire colors and safely work around energized electrical systems while following required safety procedures.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
