Delivery Driver – Albany, NY (Direct Hire | Union Position)

We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver for our Albany, NY location. This is a direct hire, non-exempt union position offering medical, dental, and pension benefits. Training will be provided to qualified candidates.
Essential Responsibilities
- Prepare, load, unload, operate, and clean delivery truck while maintaining delivery records
- Inspect truck prior to operation — check overall condition, fluid levels, tire pressure, and compliance with safety/readability standards
- Safely deliver products by following assigned routes, operating delivery vehicle, unloading goods, and maintaining scheduled delivery times
- Provide excellent customer service and address or escalate any delivery-related concerns
- Maintain vehicle performance by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and arranging necessary repairs
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- License: Clean and valid Driver’s License required

- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to use GPS navigation devices and/or read maps
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
