We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments using warehouse management systems and inventory management software
- Verify order accuracy by picking, packing, and labeling products according to order specifications
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers to load and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate data entry for shipment records, tracking information, and inventory updates using ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations and shipping & receiving standards for domestic and international shipments
- Coordinate with warehouse distribution teams to optimize stock levels, packaging procedures, and order fulfillment processes
- Conduct regular inventory counts, stock replenishment, and quality checks to prevent discrepancies or damages
- Assist with load planning, palletizing, and securing freight for transport while adhering to safety protocols
Experience
- Previous experience working in warehouse operations or logistics environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP platforms such as AS400 or MRP systems
- Hands-on experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and international trade regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and inventory tracking
- Basic math skills for calculating weights, measurements, and quantities necessary for order fulfillment
