We are currently looking for a part-time/1099 with potential for full-time position as a Rehab Tech. for the Physical Medicine Department at Accuhealth/AccuCare.
Job Description:Assist and instruct patients one-on-one on proper therapeutic exercises and activities; perform manual therapy i.e. massage, PROM, trigger point therapy; and apply ice/heat and electrical stimulation per supervision of the Director of Physical Medicine. Taking patient’s vital signs, documenting the patient’s daily progress notes on the eClinical Works program, recording the approved CPT codes, ensure that the pre-authorization date range has not expired, check the diagnostic code(s) to see if it is consistent with the PT-evals., and communicate with the providers of any new significant medical problems during the course of the treatment program. Training is provided.
Qualifications:Physical Rehab Certificate or experience with physical rehab in a workers’ comp. or PI clinic is required.A Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Physiology is preferred but not required. High School diploma or GED is required. Good communication & writing skills and attention to detail is required. Must be a team player.
Physical Medicine Clinic Hours: Monday – Thursday:9:00am – 6:00pm
Friday: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
