Work hours: Part Time; 24 hours; 3 x 8 hour shift. 7:30a-4pm; rotating call

Here’s What You Need
Education
- Nursing Diploma required Or
- Associate's Degree Nursing required Or
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
Experience
- 2 years IR experience strongly preferred and/or 2 years ICU/ED strongly preferred if without IR experience.
Licenses and Certifications
- RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required And
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required And
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required And
- NIHSS- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days required And
- CPI- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required
What You Will Do
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
- Assesses the patient
- Plans the care of the patient
- Intervenes as appropriate and evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
- Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care
- Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
- Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, while expediting out of hospital transfers
