Job Duties:

Maintain the plant’s profitability and ensure all safety and quality requirements are met

Develop and implement business plans that align with company goals and overall strategic vision
-
Build a high performing team and work collaboratively to drive change initiatives within the organization
-
Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives tied to the strategic business direction
-
Build partnerships and effectively collaborate with commercial/sales business partners to identify facility growth opportunities, and maintain relationships with key accounts
-
Oversee and drive improvements in facility production to meet short-term and long-term divisional objectives to achieve optimum efficiency
-
Build effective alliances with other Business Units, Sales, Logistics, Production, Safety and Quality Managers to better serve customers that cross multiple business units
Requirements:
Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in business, manufacturing, engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive post- baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in an operations/production management role.
Position requires experience in the following:

Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for corrugated box production, including corrugator, converting, finishing, warehousing, and logistics systems

Apply engineering-based decision making to optimize throughput, yield, waste reduction, and energy efficiency
-
Direct capital engineering projects (e.g., corrugator upgrades, die-cutters, slitters, material-handling automation) using ROI modeling, capacity analysis, and risk assessment

Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC) methodologies to improve OEE, uptime, and quality consistency

Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs, using failure-mode analysis (FMEA) and root-cause methodologies

Analyze process data, production KPIs, and cost drivers to guide continuous improvement and operational scalability

Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and industrial safety engineering standards
-
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and R&D teams to improve product performance and customer specifications
-
Manage plant P&L using quantitative financial modeling tied to operational metrics (yield, scrap, labor efficiency)

Lead and develop a technical workforce including engineers, supervisors, maintenance technicians, and operators through structured training systems
