Luxor Staffing is hiring a Clamp/Forklift Operator (Bilingual) paying $19.00 per hour with 1st shift available! Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!
Duties
- Operate clamp trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to load and unload materials efficiently.
- Safely handle heavy lifting tasks and manual handling of goods in accordance with OSHA safety standards.
- Manage order picking processes using warehouse management systems and coordinate with warehouse supervisors.
- Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying loads, documenting shipments, and ensuring accuracy.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal functionality of forklifts and related machinery.
- Support warehouse distribution operations by organizing inventory, stacking pallets, and ensuring proper storage.
- Collaborate with team members on order fulfillment tasks such as order picking and materials handling.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during heavy equipment operation.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements within the warehouse management system.
- Assist in training new staff on equipment operation, safety procedures, and warehouse procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating clamp trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, or similar heavy equipment within a warehouse environment.
- Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and manual handling.
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
