Duties
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information or demos to enhance their shopping experience
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
- Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to meet customer needs and increase sales
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing assistance remotely
- Support team members by supervising new staff, guiding them on procedures, and fostering a collaborative environment
Requirements
- Previous experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Bilingual skills are a plus to serve our diverse customer base effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are desirable for team support roles
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed
