Position Overview:
This is an onsite position where you’ll speak with consumers to negotiating payment solutions. You’ll handle both inbound and outbound calls on behalf of our clients with the goal of resolving accounts and securing payments. In addition to base pay, this role offers commission opportunities based on collection performance.
New to collections? We'll train you!! - 2 weeks paid training
Schedule: 8am-4:40pm, one late day from 10:20am-7pm, and one Saturday a month.
Pay: $16/hr +commission and $17/hr + commission for Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities:
- Locate customer accounts and document all collections activities.
- Request for payment on the outstanding balance in full or create payment plans.
- Navigate conversations with difficult or upset customers while remaining calm and professional.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans.
- Use manual and automated dialing to contact account holders by phone (averaging about 150 -200 calls a day)
- Process payments using check by phone, credit/debit cards, or offer the customer the ability to mail in payments
- Follow up with account holders who default on their payment plans
Location: On-site Following skills is a plus:
- Prior collections experience preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to type accurately (minimum 25+ words a minute)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Basic understanding of Windows operating system
- Dependable - Strong work ethic , excellent attendance record and punctuality required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
