Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Lead Carpenter to join our team, driving excellence in construction and restoration projects in both commercial and residential environments. As a Lead Carpenter, you will oversee project execution from start to finish, communicate with both customers and ownership, and ensure quality standards are met with precision and efficiency. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead projects, utilize your carpentry and construction expertise, and contribute to impactful building initiatives. Duties
- Lead and supervise construction, remodeling, and restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and fellow carpenters to develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy machinery to complete tasks efficiently and safely
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing, roofing, siding, drywall installation, and other carpentry tasks
- Manage material procurement, fabrication processes, fixture installation, framing, drywall, FRP, Acoustical Ceilings, millwork, etc.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, communicate with site supervisors, and implement corrective actions and plans to complete jobs efficiently, on time, and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, or related fields
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation
- Hands-on experience with various hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, etc.
- Familiarity with fabrication processes including drywall finishing, wall protection application, ceiling and flooring installation
- Experience in cabinetry or door hanging is a plus
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is a must
