Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic laws, and the ability to manage routes effectively. The Truck Driver will operate different types of vehicles, including but not limited to commercial trucks, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, tankers, and roll-off trucks.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Plan routes efficiently to optimize delivery times while adhering to traffic laws.
- Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing truck driving operations.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with various types of trucks including dump trucks, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and roll-off trucks is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of route driving and freight handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.

Pay: $1,120.00 - $1,307.00 per week
