Our Personnel Coordinator effectively manages the Human Resources Department of our organization to optimize productivity, profitability, and employee satisfaction. This position also acts as support to the Senior Staffing Coordinator as needed. Participation is expected in after hours on-call schedule rotation as needed.
Duties:
- Manage recruitment and selection of Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs).
- Interview potential candidates, send requests for references and follow up, verify physical requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all new and current employee documentation required by company policy and regulatory agencies for maintaining employment within the organization including, but not limited to, I-9 compliance, professional licensure, and all other documents related to employment. Discharge inactive personnel records per policy.
- Coordinating new hire orientation meetings, 90-day and annual performance appraisal, in-service trainings, updated health screening and annual license verification.
- Processes criminal background checks for all new hire field staff.
- Managing caregivers assigned to cases.
- Maintain employee database including up to date CHHA availability list for use by Staffing Coordinators.
- Communicate openly with the Staffing Coordinators regarding scheduling, availability, attendance, and larger scale issues.
- Assist Senior Staffing Coordinator with any staffing challenges and cover schedule changes as needed.
- Greet visitors and welcome them in a friendly, warm, and professional manner!
- Answer incoming phone calls, provide information to callers or direct calls to the appropriate department.
Qualifications:
- Highly organized with exceptional time management skills
- Strong communication skills in Spanish and English
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
