The Department of Education, Development, Teaching and Learning (EDTL) at CWU is accepting applications to fill current and future full-time, part-time, quarterly and annual appointment lecturer positions to teach teacher preparation classes in Elementary Education. We seek candidates who are Elementary Education generalists or who hold specialized educational endorsements in the Arts (visual and performance), Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies. Other areas of need are curriculum design and assessment. Candidates who hold multiple endorsements are welcomed.

The Department serves teaching candidates seeking a major in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Special Education. Minors include Early Childhood Education, Literacy, Special Education, and Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL)/ Bilingual Education. We offer Masters programs in Literacy, Special Education, and Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL)/ Bilingual Education.
We seek part-time educators with teaching experience with children in grades K-8. We offer evening courses to many of our students, so educators who wish to teach in the evenings are welcomed. Knowledge of online course delivery, specifically using the Canvas software, is helpful.
We offer courses at our Ellensburg campus and centers in Des Moines, Pierce, Wenatchee, and Yakima. Please specify in your cover letter your location and the degree you are willing to travel.
