Associated Finishing Incorporated (AFI) is seeking a Sandblaster to join our team at Extreme Powder Coating in Blooming Prairie. If you take pride in producing quality work, enjoy hands-on tasks, and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we'd like to hear from you.
We value flexibility, attention to detail, reliability, and motivation. Previous sandblasting or industrial finishing experience is a plus, but not required—we provide on-the-job training for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal parts for finishing
- Inspect parts before and after blasting to ensure quality standards are met
- Prepare products for powder coating applications
- Hang, wash, and pack parts as needed
- Maintain accurate part counts and production records
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
- Previous sandblasting or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday
6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
