Old Town Marine is one of the fastest-growing marine service companies in the Florida Keys. We provide professional mobile marine service and operate service hubs supporting Yamaha and Suzuki outboards, Garmin, Simrad, and Raymarine electronics, and the essential systems that keep boats reliable.
We're looking for a Marine Service Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, follows processes, communicates professionally, and wants to be part of a growing team.
This is not a boatyard environment. We focus on organized, repeatable marine service with strong support from Service Advisors, parts coordination, and established systems.
What You'll Do
Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement of common marine systems including:
Outboard Service
- Yamaha and Suzuki maintenance
- 100-hour and 300-hour services
- Fuel filter replacement
- Water pumps and cooling system service
- Battery and charging system work
- Basic troubleshooting and inspections
Essential Boat Systems
- Bilge pumps and float switches
- Washdown and livewell pumps
- Batteries and battery chargers
- Navigation lights
- Basic 12V electrical repairs
- Steering components
- Marine accessory installation
Marine Electronics
- Garmin, Simrad, and Raymarine equipment
- Electronics replacements and upgrades
- Transducer installations
- Accessory integration
Customer Service
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Document work performed
- Take photos and notes using company software
- Work closely with Service Advisors to provide clear recommendations

What We're Looking For, Required:
- Marine mechanical experience
- Experience working on outboard-powered boats
- Ability to diagnose and repair common marine systems
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Comfortable using smartphones and service software
Preferred
- Yamaha experience
- Suzuki experience
- Marine electrical experience
- Garmin, Simrad, or Raymarine experience
- ABYC certifications
- Technical school or marine training background
