You will have one full hour with each new patient, allowing you to build meaningful relationships and provide personalized, unrushed care. Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and reviewing medical records to ensure safe treatment plans.
- Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Take medical imaging such as X-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental health.
- Maintain infection control standards by practicing aseptic techniques and adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
- Document all procedures accurately
- Support pediatric dentistry cases with specialized care tailored for children, fostering a positive experience for young patients; we are however a general dental office
- Review documentation thoroughly for accuracy, ensuring compliance with dental terminology and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
- Experience working in pediatric dentistry or pediatric-focused practices is a plus.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and professionally.

Pay: $60.00 - $68.00 per hour
