Responsibilities
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and straightening using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and automotive welding equipment.
- Fabricate and shape sheet metal components to match vehicle specifications using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication repair techniques.
- Conduct auto painting, sanding, auto glass replacement, and detailing to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Utilize auto estimating skills to assess damage and determine the necessary repairs accurately.
- Operate airless paint spraying equipment and other automotive repair tools efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Assist with auto restoration projects by applying advanced fabrication skills and auto body repair knowledge.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed during vehicle repairs and ensure proper use of all safety protocols.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background working as an automotive body technician.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, auto body repair, and automotive repair processes.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and auto painting equipment for detailed work.
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication, auto glass installation, auto estimating, and auto restoration techniques.
- Knowledge of auto body repair techniques including sanding, auto painting, auto glass replacement, and detailing.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision in all repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about repair processes and timelines.

Pay: $27.68 - $33.34 per hour
