Responsibilities
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on manufactured components.
- Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
- Identify nonconforming materials and assist with corrective action investigations.
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications and internal quality standards.
- Assist with internal quality audits and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing quality, inspection, or quality assurance role.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification.
- Experience with ISO quality systems or similar manufacturing quality standards.
- Experience with corrective actions, root cause analysis, or continuous improvement methodologies.
