We are currently seeking a Roll Form Operator in the Grand Rapids area!
Starting pay: $30.00/h - $35.00/h
Job May Include:
- Operate roll forming equipment used to manufacture light-gauge steel studs and framing components
- Load and feed coil steel into production machinery
- Set up, adjust, and monitor equipment during production runs
- Read measurements and verify finished parts meet required dimensions
- Inspect finished material for defects and quality issues
- Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting
- Assist with material handling and staging finished products
- Maintain a clean and organized production area
- Other tasks appointed by the foreman or production supervisor
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience operating roll forming, metal fabrication, or similar production machinery
- Experience working with light-gauge steel or metal forming equipment preferred
- Ability to use basic measuring tools
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable making basic machine adjustments
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Understanding of workplace and manufacturing safety
- Must be reliable and able to take direction
