Overview
Cedur Synthetic Roofing is a premier polyurethane manufacturer, and we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of facilities and equipment, performing routine maintenance, and addressing any repair needs that arise. This role requires a strong understanding of various maintenance tasks, including electrical work, facilities maintenance, and the ability to read schematics. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality are essential.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, ensuring all systems are functioning properly.
- Conduct electrical repairs and installations, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot issues with equipment and systems effectively.
- Lead small teams in various maintenance projects, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Fabricate components or parts as required for repairs or upgrades.
- Supervise the work of other maintenance staff or contractors to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to perform electrical repairs.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in maintenance tasks is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Experience in supervising teams or leading projects is a plus.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
- Skills in welding or fabrication techniques are advantageous but not mandatory.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving with strong leadership capabilities.
