Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Clinical Director to lead our behavioral health and mental health services. This Director must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist. Duties
- Provide leadership and supervision to clinical staff, including therapists, counselors, and case managers, ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational standards
- Oversee patient assessments, intake processes, and diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical terminology and mental health counseling techniques
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral management, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and group therapy sessions
- Coordinate crisis intervention efforts and manage crisis situations with professionalism and sensitivity, including PTSD care and working with individuals experiencing acute mental health crises
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining accurate medical records, documentation of patient care, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and data collection for clinical research purposes
- Facilitate training sessions on topics such as social work practices, special education strategies, working with children or individuals with autism/disabilities, and behavior management techniques
- Collaborate with families, schools, community agencies, and healthcare providers to support comprehensive case management and patient care continuity
- Build this business by bringing on new members and qualified staffing
Skills
- Extensive experience in behavioral health settings with a strong understanding of mental health counseling modalities
- Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients effectively
- Demonstrated ability to work with children, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and those requiring special education or behavioral therapy interventions
- Skilled in crisis management strategies including crisis intervention protocols for various scenarios
- Knowledge of medical documentation standards, ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology
- Expertise in conducting diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based assessments for mental health disorders
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience supervising clinical teams and managing program operations

Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
