Part-Time After-School Nanny | $16–$20/hr

Jovie is looking for a dependable, experienced nanny to join a wonderful family and provide after-school care for two school-aged sisters, ages 7 and 11.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent weekday afternoon schedule during the school year, with the potential for additional hours on early-release days, school breaks, and summer.
Schedule
Monday–Friday | Approximately 3:00 PM–6:00 PM
- Approximately 15 guaranteed hours per week
- One evening per week will typically extend until 8:00–9:00 PM
- Preferred availability is Monday–Friday
- Additional hours may be available for school in-service days and early dismissals
- Minimum commitment through the full school year
- Summer needs will be reassessed in the spring, with potential for part-time or full-time summer care
About the Family
You'll care for two sweet and active sisters:
11-year-old: Responsible, kind, and involved in piano, soccer, volleyball, and other activities. She does well with gentle reminders and enjoys helping with her younger sister.
7-year-old: Outgoing, funny, energetic, and creative. She enjoys soccer, swimming, crafts, building, coloring, and riding her bike and scooter. She thrives with caregivers who provide clear, consistent boundaries while keeping things positive and fun.
The sisters generally get along very well and enjoy spending time together.
Responsibilities
- Pick the children up from school each afternoon
- Provide a safe, fun, and engaging after-school environment
- Help the girls transition from school into their afternoon routine
- Provide snacks and assist with dinner/early meal preparation
- Keep the children on track with homework and daily piano practice
- Provide transportation to activities such as soccer, piano, and swimming when needed
- Encourage outdoor play, crafts, reading, and other age-appropriate activities
- Help children maintain their own cleanup responsibilities
- Assist with lunchbox cleanup and light kitchen tidying
- Occasionally take the children on nearby outings when their schedule allows
- Follow family safety and household routines

- Able to confidently transport children to school and activities
- Looking for a consistent, long-term school-year commitment
Experience working with children who are active in sports and extracurricular activities is a plus!
Important Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable, insured vehicle
- Comfortable driving children to activities
- Strong childcare references
- Ability to commit to the regular Monday–Friday schedule
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
