Job Title: Senior Individual Tax Manager

Job Description
We are a growing CPA firm seeking an experienced tax professional to lead our Individual Tax Department. This on-site leadership role is responsible for managing a team of tax professionals, overseeing complex individual tax engagements, and serving as a primary advisor to high-net-worth clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Individual Tax Department, including 10–15 tax professionals
- Prepare and oversee preparation and final review of complex individual income tax returns (multi-state, pass-through entities, trusts, and estates)
- Manage department workflow, deadlines, and quality control
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for key individual tax clients
- Provide tax planning and advisory services throughout the year
- Perform and review complex tax research and planning strategies
- Train, mentor, and develop team members
- Collaborate with firm leadership on process improvements and growth initiatives
Qualifications
- CPA required
- 10+ years of public accounting experience, with a strong focus on individual taxation
- Proven experience managing teams of 10 or more professionals
- Strong technical knowledge of federal and state individual tax matters
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fully on-site environment
Preferred
- Experience with high-net-worth individuals and family groups
- Trust and estate tax exposure
- Prior department head, director, or senior manager experience

Pay: $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
