Job Title: Executive Chef
Job Overview:
College Cuisine is looking for motivated and talented Chefs to join our team. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations within our establishment. You will lead a team of culinary professionals, manage kitchen operations, and ensure the highest quality of food production.
Duties:
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking activities
- Develop and maintain weekly menus that meet quality standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory and control allocated food and labor budgets
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events and banquets
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on best practices
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in the hospitality or food industry
- Strong knowledge of multiple styles of cuisine and proper food preparation techniques within those styles
- Excellent kitchen management skills including shift management, inventory management, and food budget control
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve culinary excellence
- Creativity in menu development and banquet style presentation
- Strong understanding of food safety standards
