Triangle Tavern is hiring experienced Line Cooks to join our kitchen team.
We’re looking for dependable, versatile cooks who can work across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and closing shifts. This is a hands-on position where everyone contributes to service, prep, cleaning, and leaving the kitchen ready for the next shift.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute menu items consistently and efficiently
- Work grill, fryer, and other line stations as trained
- Complete assigned prep by required service times
- Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift
- Use slower periods for prep, restocking, and cleaning
- Follow recipes, portions, and presentation standards
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, handwashing, and glove requirements
- Properly store, label, and rotate food
- Complete assigned opening, shift, and closing duties
- Communicate shortages, incomplete prep, or other issues before leaving
- Support other stations and teammates as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous restaurant or line cook experience preferred
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work with urgency during busy service
- Strong clean-as-you-go habits
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable taking direction and feedback
- Willing to work different stations and dayparts as needed
Availability
We are especially looking for applicants with availability for:
- Morning/opening shifts
- Thursday-Saturday dinner shifts
- Evening and closing shifts
Broad availability provides the best opportunity for consistent hours.
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 20-40 per week
Additional Compensation: Eligible kitchen team members participate in a guaranteed tip pool funded at 3% of net sales, shared among eligible kitchen staff.
