ASSEMBLER
Pay Rate: starts at $17/hour
1st shift
Description: This Assembler is responsible for building, assembling and wiring electrical control panels or subassemblies by following work instructions, schematics and blueprints. This role requires a willingness to learn, proficiency with hand tools, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical diagrams.
Responsibilities:
Cutting and stripping wire, cable assemblies, bulkheads or other electrical parts
Utilize hand tools, small power tools, soldering equipment, and other equipment as needed
Mounting components to din rail, backplates, enclosures or other equipment as needed
Wiring and terminations of electrical devices or assemblies following work instructions, electrical, schematics and blueprints
Follow work instructions and procedures.
All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively – both written and verbally in English
Follow safety and ISO procedures
Proficiency with hand tools
Physical capabilities including sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, bending, pushing,
pulling and lifting to 50 lbs.,
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
High school or equivalent
