Team Wellness Center is seeking a Fully LicensedClinical Therapist to join our Children’s Program. The Clinical Therapist provides comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and their families while supporting their emotional, behavioral, and overall wellness needs.
This position is responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing individual, family, and group therapy, and coordinating services with other professionals involved in the member’s care. The ideal candidate is compassionate, clinically skilled, organized, and experienced in working with children and families with diverse behavioral health needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive initial assessments, including assessment of mental health and co-occurring substance use concerns.
- Facilitate the Person-Centered Planning process and develop individualized plans of service based on each member’s needs.
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to children and adolescents.
- Provide crisis intervention and referrals to additional services and community resources as needed.
- Assess members’ behavioral health needs using evidence-based clinical practices, outcome measures, and motivational interviewing techniques.
- Apply appropriate DSM diagnostic criteria when completing comprehensive assessments and establishing diagnoses.
- Develop and implement behavior and treatment plans addressing mental health and co-occurring substance use needs, when applicable.
- Collaborate and communicate with behavioral health, medical, and other professionals to provide integrated and coordinated care.
- Monitor treatment and services to ensure members are receiving appropriate support based on their individualized wellness needs.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation of all direct and indirect services within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Maintain compliance with applicable documentation, medical record, credentialing, and service requirements.
- Participate in required meetings, trainings, educational programs, workshops, and other professional development activities.
- Maintain required productivity and documentation standards.
- Participate in crisis response responsibilities as required by the Children’s Program.
- Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Children’s Program Director or designee.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- Must possess a current, unrestricted full clinical license in the State of Michigan, such as:
- LMSW
- LPC
- LP
- Experience providing behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families preferred.
- Knowledge of DSM diagnostic criteria, treatment planning, clinical assessment, and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
- Ability to complete required Children’s Program training, including Evidence-Based Practice for Diagnosing Children.
- Ability to respond appropriately to behavioral health crises and participate in crisis coverage as required.
- Must maintain all required professional licensure, credentials, continuing education, and organizational training requirements.
- Current CADC credential or ability to meet applicable development-plan requirements.
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to the organization’s insurance provider.
- Reliable personal transportation for travel between work-related locations and transportation of members as needed.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
