Part-Time Litigation Attorney – Flexible Schedule
Reram Inc. is seeking a Texas-licensed attorney for a flexible, part-time position assisting with an active civil litigation docket. The position is expected to average approximately 15 hours per week, with dedicated paralegal and administrative support provided. This may be a good fit for a solo practitioner seeking supplemental work, a semi-retired attorney, a newly licensed attorney seeking hands-on experience, or an attorney looking for a flexible long-term part-time arrangement.
Our matters include real estate litigation, property tax litigation, eminent domain/condemnation, construction and contract disputes, commercial litigation, collections, and other civil matters throughout Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and legal correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and provide litigation strategy and analysis.
- Assist with discovery, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation.
- Make court appearances as needed, primarily in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
- Review and supervise appropriate work prepared by support staff.
- Work with an experienced freelance paralegal who can assist with drafting, filings, discovery organization, exhibits, scheduling, and case preparation.
- Assist with monitoring litigation deadlines and moving cases toward resolution.
- Communicate with opposing counsel and other parties when appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas law license and good standing with the State Bar of Texas required.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Ability to independently review a case file and identify necessary next steps.
- Comfortable handling a variety of civil litigation matters.
- Prior litigation or courtroom experience is preferred but not required.
- Newly licensed attorneys with strong research and writing skills are encouraged to apply.
Schedule and Work Arrangement:
- Approximately 15 hours per week.
- Flexible scheduling.
- Hybrid flexibility may be available depending on assignments.
- Office located in Denton, Texas.
- In-person attendance required when necessary for meetings, hearings, depositions, mediations, or other case-related matters.
- Court appearances will generally be in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, with occasional travel depending on the case.
Compensation:
- $30-45 hourly compensation for the part-time position.
- Additional compensation and/or performance-based bonuses may be available.
- Potential additional compensation associated with attorney-fee recoveries when appropriate and permitted.

Administrative & Paralegal Support:
- Dedicated freelance paralegal support is provided at no cost to the attorney.
- The paralegal can assist with document preparation, e-filing, discovery organization, exhibits, case files, scheduling, and other litigation support.
- The attorney can focus primarily on legal analysis, strategy, drafting/review, negotiations, hearings, and other work requiring an attorney.
- Additional office support and case materials will be provided as needed.
This position is intended to provide flexibility while giving the attorney meaningful responsibility and litigation experience. We are particularly interested in candidates seeking a long-term part-time arrangement rather than a traditional full-time associate position.
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
