● The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all incoming patients at Hello Pediatrics
● Answer all inbound telephone calls with unparalleled customer service and in a timely manner
● Respond to all patient questions and inquiries with a sense of urgency and kindness
● Responsible for collecting required demographic and insurance information, along with documents for patient registration
● Collect and record patient vitals, medical history, and medications within EMR
● Accurately record and update patient information in system(s)
● Schedule patient appointment(s) and coordinate with the team to ensure timely turnaround for each patient
● Inform Manager of wait times, patient inquiries and messages as needed
● Collect and post co-payments, deductible and coinsurance amounts
● Complete post-visit patient follow up calls
● Upload and file all patient documents within EMR
● Direct all calls accurately and record messages
● Comply with all HIPAA and other regulatory standards
● Perform other duties as assigned
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Experience:
- Call center: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
