Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality food and beverage service. You will be responsible for ensuring that guests feel welcomed, attended to, and satisfied throughout their dining experience.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service areas.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food service industry.
- Fulfill side-work obligations, generally cleaning and restocking certain areas, following each shift.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a server in a fine-dining or elevated restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and health regulations related to food service.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experiences.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, especially nights and weekends.
