Job Summary
The Receptionist/Front Office Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, vendors, healthcare professionals and community partners. This position provides exceptional customer service while performing administrative duties that support the daily operations of the assisted living community. The Receptionist helps maintain a welcoming, organized, safe and professional environment while ensuring resident confidentiality and compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Welcome residents, visitors, families, vendors and healthcare providers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer, screen and direct incoming telephone calls.
- Take accurate messages and promptly notify appropriate staff.
- Monitor facility entrance and visitor sign-in procedures.
- Issue visitor badges when applicable.
- Maintain a clean , organized and professional reception area.
- Perform filing, scanning, faxing, copying and document preparation.
- Assist with admissions paperwork and resident move-in documentation.
- Assist with billing paperwork and Medicaid documentation as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and resident information.
- Assist with scheduling transportation appointments.
- Coordinate vendor appointments and service calls.
- Maintain HIPAA Confidentiality at all times.
- Follow all CDPHE regulations and facility policies.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft and electronic record systems.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
