Job Description:

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will be performing therapies, recording the notes of each visit, and following up with their patients;

The SLP will be empowered to build their schedule and maintain it;

The SLP will be given the tools (software/program, i.e., ClinicSource) to facilitate the secretarial needs of their schedules (i.e., confirming appointments), and will be expected to have computer and smartphone literacy for this reason;

Traveling will be expected, as we also offer services not only at our offices but at the daycare centers and schools in the surrounding areas;

The SLP may supervise an SLPA, which will require to meet at least once a month and work on therapy strategies.
Education/Certificates:
-
M.S. or M.A. in Communications Disorders, or a similar degree;

SLP License from the State of Florida.

ASHA CCC is encouraged but not required.
Skills:
-
English speaking;
-
Bilingual (Spanish);
-
Computer literacy;
-
Smartphone literacy.
Required Work Experience:
-
At least 1 year working with children.
Responsibilities:

Maintain a consistent roster of patients;
