Job Summary
SPS Consulting is seeking a highly-organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our government customer in the Montgomery County area. Duties may be varied but fall under extensive office and administrative support services.
Responsibilities Include:
- Processing invoices, purchase orders
- Updating financial records
- Processing business transactions like A/R, A/P, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts
- Assisting in month-end-reporting procedures, claims coding and submissions
- Researching invoice errors and preparing journal entries, and invoice reconciliation
- Performing other related clerical tasks
Requirements:
- High School diploma and 2-4 years of experience as an office support
- Experience with financial activities including the processing of invoices and maintenance of financial data is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, excellent communication skills, trustworthiness and collaboration skills
- A resourceful and independent worker capable of self-managing their time and tasks
- Ability to efficiently operate office equipment, including desktop computers, fax machine, copier and printers
Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour
