MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

3 years as a licensed Architect with Project Management Experience with a vast array of project types and sizes.

Proficient REVIT skills.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ROLE

Requires leadership to oversee the entire project team (all disciplines).

Experience with all phases of commercial architecture design projects from project setup through design and through construction administration.

Create construction project documents in all phases in REVIT.

Create specifications.

Self-Directed with superior communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to cultivate and maintain productive working relationships.

Ability to organize project schedules, design requirements, and production delivery.

Ability to identify and address issues following protocol and procedures to reach the best resolution.

Works well with governing authorities to obtain approval from building departments, engineering, planning, water districts, fire and other agencies tied to code review and approvals.

Strong detailing skills.

Proficient in current construction administrative procedures.

Strong understanding of construction processes and methods and how it impacts the project
-
Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize accordingly.
ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES
-
Ideally the candidate will have experience in the commercial architecture industry surrounding Federal government projects, Municipal/ Civic projects, Public Safety (Fire and Police), Vehicle centric based projects (public works, dealerships) administrative office buildings, and or other general commercial architecture experience.

Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, BlueBeam, SketchUp, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and other industry software is a plus.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or emphasis (associates degree, minor, etc.) in Architecture. (Required)
